About Stewards
Stewards of Washington State Lands helps communities, agencies, partners, and decision-makers protect and care for Washington’s special public lands for people, wildlife, and future generations.
Our Mission
We exist to advocate for the conservation of ecologically and socially valuable state land.
Our Vision
Proper stewardship of our public heritage, today and forever.
Who We Are
Our organization is founded on the backbone of a statewide advocacy coalition that was created in 2020 to revitalize an important, yet diminishing conservation tool called Trust Land Transfer. Our board members are committed conservationists with track records that span from Spokane to Olympia to Port Townsend and beyond.
